Leica recently released their limited edition M9-P collaboration with Hermes along with this behind the scenes peek at how a $50,000 kit is made.

From a marketing sense, I think it was a great move for Leica to show the amount of craftsmanship that goes into each product. It certainly increased my appreciation for their cameras.

But is it worth that price tag?
